Flagler Project: Classic Charm with a Fresh Twist

Our clients were a young, newly married couple living in Arlington who purchased their first home in Centreville, VA, just outside of Washington, DC. Moving from a two-bedroom apartment into a classic 1990’s Colonial, they were thrilled with the traditional architecture and layout but felt the colors and finishes were dated. Their style leans traditional and classic, but they also wanted something fresher, more elevated, and tailored to them.

Our scope for this project included:

  • Refinishing the hardwood floors and painting throughout the home

  • Adding crown moulding and trim across the first floor

  • A full powder room remodel

  • A cozy, intentional refresh of the primary bedroom

The result? A layered, thoughtful transformation that honors the home’s Colonial bones while making it feel fresh and personal.
